Firstly, our Q2 Highlights Reel.
Here, you can see our significant achievements and milestones over the past quarter.
Ahmad’s Journal had many pages this quarter - and no, it's not because he loves to talk, it's simply that gist loves him.
Anyway, here are the stories you loved most.
Do you know why we are so amazing? We’re not too stuck up (or deluded) to know when something didn't do great.
A few of our posts didn’t quite have your attention this quarter. These stories either didn’t resonate with you or got lost in the noise.
At IN3K8 Media, we’re all about improving - how else can we keep eating up everyone else? - so we would love your feedback on what you would like to see more or less of in the future.
In the meantime, here are a few that didn’t make the splash we hoped for.
We had a lot of fun on Instagram this quarter! Throughout it, we were able to reach more than 2000 accounts (Amapiano plays loudly in the background) and our impressions skyrocketed.
We remain ever humble and very grateful.
Much of these stats came from people who weren’t even following us, so, thank you for liking, commenting and even sharing because they went a long way!
Our Nigerian Banking Carousel had the most engagement this quarter and, not to be cocky but, rightfully so.
The shege Nigerian banks show citizens on a daily is the stuff of generational curses.
Our reel on outing essentials reached the most people this quarter because let's face it, the right gear makes all the difference when you’re going out.
Imagine forgetting your lip balm or charger? You might as well light a fire and step into it because the night is ruined.
We love Twitter (or X, anyone you want, please).
Getting to know our community on Twitter and what they like to see was our top priority this quarter and we believe it's paying off.
Our numbers on Twitter grew monthly, and it's due in no small part to all the likes and reposts, and everyone that clicked the link to read Ahmad’s Journal.
Special mentions are:
Nigeria is hard, and managing money while living in Nigeria is something you do night vigil over, so we wrote the “Millenial Money Mistakes - Lessons Learnt that Hard Way” article.
Off the back of that, our Gen Z Money Bingo was the top tweet of this quarter! With over 3000+ impressions and some interesting comments from readers, it’s safe to say that it got attention in Q2.
Also, the bank palaver Ahmad covered hit a little too close to home for a lot of readers. It seems we’ve all experienced some variation of 4 hours in Banking Purgatory.
We like to call threads our “lowkey goldmine”. She's like that “Money talks, but wealth whispers” saying.
In Q2, our engagement on Threads steadily increased, with over 400 interactions so far.
Considering the app's recent launch, competitive landscape and the size of our account, let's not lie, this is a promising start, this is why we're thrilled to see our Nigerian and African community growing.
Our mission (some would call it our “Roman Empire”) is to connect with and support this community, and we're dedicated to finding and engaging even more people.
We can't wait to boost these numbers in the coming months.
Our top post on Threads this quarter was an audio clip of Dave speaking on his wishes for Nigeria regarding mental health.
Even though Threads is still a growing app, its potential? Chef’s Kiss.
Take this as your sign to join us on Threads. Immediately.
Telling you stories, giving you signs… it gave guardian angel.
